One Year!!!

So I finally caved to peer pressure and created a blog. I thought, what a better day to start a blog then on our One Year Anniversary! I know, we did it! I'm an old married woman now. It's not as fun as everyone says....IT'S BETTER!! We got massages from this reflexology place yesterday, it was a little interesing. I was really hoping for another puppy so Nash would have a friend but no dice. He got me this 15" digital photo frame. It's way cool. The pictures look really good. He had a custom frame made that looks beautiful! I can't wait to put it on the wall. I have a cute idea for decorating with it.

We've grown so much over that last year. We went to Vegas for our honeymoon. I have to admit....we did some gambling and won $135 bucks!! Whoo!! My only regret, not going to a session in the Las Vegas Temple. We started out living with my family(that's so not the way to start a marriage...even if it's free!) Now don't get me wrong, I love my family but newlyweds need their space, ya know. I've been through 8 months of braces...Again!
We even expanded our family! We got our Yorkie in June 2007. His name is Nash. We celebrated his First Birthday on April 21. It's so cute, he shares his birthday with two of our friends, Tyler Boehme, and Tarin's little girl Macie.

We signed our house papers on Nov. 30, 2007 and moved in the first week in December. It's so weird to think we've been here for 6 months already. We're so fortunate to be in our house. Decorating is so much fun but a little expensive! I love having all my own stuff that I don't have to share with 3 other siblings....selfish but oh well.

January was such a milestone month for us...we got rid of Elliott's speed6!! Whoo!! It's such a sigh of relief to not worry about that POS car breaking down or something else needing fixed. We hired an attorney and applied the Lemon Law to it and now we're free!!! Our new Mazda CX-9 is so fun to drive. I feel like a soccer mom in it!(minus the kids of course)

We've had ups and downs at work too. I finally finished my IV therapy class and am IV certified, and Elliott has the new responsibility of running the Electronic shop and now Market Place. He's the boss for everyone! It's not all going to his head quite yet. He's getting ready for his real estate class to start in July. Real estate in these times...he's a little crazy! Times have gotten a little scary, especially when it comes to planning for the future. It's nice to know we have the Lord on our side.
